Building narratives through video, archives, and memories
(The essay-film and the construction of possible futures)

8-session workshop with artist Gian Spina.

“In this theoretical and practical course, we will be looking at the different ways in which memory and history are shaped and presented through films and experimental videos.
By looking into archives, personal and other, the participants will learn how to construct films/videos using archival material. The objective of these videos is to change the way we see and revisit past events, in hopes of shaping the future.”
