Nearly a year after the mass massacres committed by the israeli occupation against the people of Gaza and southern Lebanon—accompanied by forced displacement and systematic destruction of the living environment. In light of these horrors, we ask: How can we reflect on the current reality from a decolonial feminist lens? And how can we imagine a future where the people of this region are liberated from capitalist, patriarchal, and colonial constraints?
All readings for the book club will be available in both English and Arabic. While discussions are welcome in both languages, the primary focus will be on Arabic, and the facilitation of the sessions will mainly be in Arabic. This initial session will serve as a foundation for future readings and will be open to participant suggestions on the structure of the sessions and the content to be discussed.
