An exhibition by Rama Duwaji. Face to Face is an ongoing series that consists of 80 portraits captured and illustrated in different areas of Beirut. To explore both oppositions and links between the complexity and uniformization of a society, this project documents the faces of the people as testimonials of how radically different individuals coexist within cities. A collection of portraits coming face to face with both the beauty and the pressures that lie in socio-economic, religious, and sexual differences.
