A Bookbinding workshop with Zaynab that revolves around easy bookbinding techniques, with a focus on upcycling.
In this workshop, participants learned new ways to upcycle by making their own notebooks, using the Japanese stab binding technique.
Participants were encouraged to bring their own recyclable materials, such as tetra packs, cardboard, thick nylon, or other materials they can imagine as a notebook cover.

Zaynab Mourad is a social activist and multidisciplinary artist. She loves paper and is a resourceful upcycling maker, giving extra lives to wasted paper and other materials.
